Why Sydney Harbour Days

The idea for Sydney Harbour Days came to life during a lively chat between two Sydney tourism pros (that’s us!) about how boat rentals could be way easier. We noticed that most booking websites were cluttered and confusing, making it tough for people to find the perfect boat.

So, we set out to change that. Our mission? To create a boat rental company that takes the stress out of planning events and celebrations on Sydney Harbour, making it simple and accessible for everyone. And just like that, Sydney Harbour Days was born—a no-fuss, easy-going company with one goal: to make our customers happier than a dolphin doing backflips!

Our secret? We put your experience first. From the moment you reach out to the final wave goodbye, we aim to make it as smooth as a sunrise cruise on calm waters.

Karin and Travis, the duo behind Sydney Harbour Days, are true Sydney locals who live and breathe the harbour and all things social events. With backgrounds in managing boat companies, travel agencies, and years of hands-on customer service in tourism, we’ve honed the skills to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Our team is growing, and we’re lucky to have Kate and Kendell onboard, who are just as passionate and dedicated to creating seamless sailing experiences as we are. From your first enquiry to after-cruise care and every detail in between, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch service that’s earned us a reputation as the go-to boat hire company for any occasion.

When we’re not busy matching clients with their perfect floating venue, you’ll find us on the water, enjoying a boat trip together—because when you live in Sydney, the call of the sea is impossible to resist!

Barefoot Charters is owned by underwater filmmaker, sailor and adventurer Captain Dean. Growing up on boats and with over 20 years of experience on the harbour, Dean is a wealth of knowledge having explored almost every corner of Sydney Harbour both above and below the water.

Champagne Sailing

Champagne Sailing is run by the lovely Tim & Juliet, two people who live and breathe boating. In love with Sydney Harbour, their aim is to make every part of your boat trip as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

Experience Sydney Harbour

Experience Sydney Harbour is owned by Tim, an outdoor fanatic who loves to take people out on his boat to have fun on Sydney Harbour. Expect old school hospitality with a little bit of cheeky to amuse.

Ozcat

Ozcat is owned and operated by Patrick & Archie, a team of passionate people who have brought together their love for travel, food, fun and sailing. Expect beautifully maintained boats and excellent hospitality.

Rockfish Catamarans

Rockfish Catamarans Charters have been sailing Sydney Harbour since 2010. The team at Rockfish are passionate about Sydney and its Harbour and their skipper & crew will ensure you have the best time on the water.

Sea Sydney Harbour

Sea Sydney Harbour is run by the lovely Frank & Ann, a young duo with a great passion for boating. With the vision to provide the opportunity for everyone to experience the joy of Sydney Harbour, they deliver exceptional service to all who come onboard.

Sydney DreamBoats

Sydney DreamBoats was founded by the lovely Chris & Adam, two guys with a great passion for boating and the unique waterways of Sydney Harbour. Boating is their life and they take great pride in ensuring that their guests have the perfect day out.

Tiger Catamarans

Tiger Catamarans have been cruising on Sydney Harbour for over 10 years. Owner Andrew and his team know the Harbour well and definitely know how to give their guests an unforgettable day out on the water.

XTsea

XTsea is run by the lovely husband and wife David & Colleen who have circumnavigated Australia by boat over the last six years. The couple own the boat and know it inside and out and maintain it to a very high standard.
