For smaller yacht hire on Sydney Harbour, you can expect to pay between $650-$1,200/hr, depending on the type of vessel and the season. For larger yachts, you can expect an hourly rate of $900-$1,700/hr and super yachts hire starts at $1,800/hr. On top of this, most yacht charge a wharf pick up and drop off fee (generally $100-$150) and amenities feee (generally $100-$150 or a $15/pp fee). Luxury yachts often also charge a wait staff fee. We will outlay all costs for you upon enquiry, so there are no surprises on the day.

During high season (September – April) or on Saturdays throughout the year, the standard hire time is usually 4 hours or more. However, a select few vessels offer 3-hour hires year-round. In low season (May – August) and on weekdays throughout the year, most vessels offer 3-hour hires as standard.

It’s worth noting that overnight hire can also be arranged upon request. Just let us know your requirements, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Luxury boats are generally available for hire during the afternoon or evening. Typically, afternoon hires commence at 12pm or 1pm, while evening hires begin at 5pm or 6pm. If you let us know your preference, we will inform you of the available times.

When you hire a luxury yacht in Sydney, the package typically includes the use of the vessel, along with an experienced skipper and crew to handle navigation and management. In addition, certain yachts may offer extra amenities and services, such as onboard entertainment systems and water sports equipment like kayaks or paddleboards. We’ll thoroughly review any boat hire package with you, so you can have a clear understanding of what’s included, as well as any additional costs that may apply.

Yacht hire has become a highly sought-after option for boat rentals on Sydney Harbour, particularly during peak season and especially on Saturdays, which tend to book up rapidly. To secure your desired time and date, we recommend making your reservation at least 3 months in advance. Luxury yachts are an excellent choice for spending a day on Sydney Harbour, thanks to their upscale amenities. If your vessel offers easy water access (with either a swimming ladder or plaform), the captain can take you to the finest secluded spots for swimming. Please mention your interest in swimming when you make your enquiry, and our team will inform you of your options!

Most luxury boats offer a BYO drinks option, where you can bring your own drinks onboard for a small amenity fee. This typically includes glassware, cool storage, and in some cases, ice. When you make your booking, we will inform you of the BYO option and any associated fees, so you can plan accordingly and avoid any unexpected expenses.

To comply with RSA guidelines, it’s mandatory to have enough food on board for all cruises. With yachts, you are generally allowed to bring your own food, and some vessels even come equipped with onboard BBQs where the crew can cook your food for you. If you make an enquiry, we will inform you whether your chosen boat has a BBQ available, so you can plan your food arrangements accordingly and avoid any surprises.

While it’s often possible to bring your own food on board, we highly recommend considering the catering options offered by the boat. Our partners offer a wide variety of delicious food and beverage options, making it easy for you to organise your onboard dining experience. Not to mention, it can often be a more convenient and hassle-free option, allowing you to sit back and enjoy your day on the water.

While it’s subject to availability and potential surcharges, we do offer the option of selecting separate locations for both pick-up and drop-off. Our team will be happy to suggest appropriate locations for your group and recommend vessels that can pick you up from your preferred wharf location.

Yachts are equipped to cruise in any weather conditions that are deemed safe by the captain. However, in the event that the weather is deemed unsafe and the captain has to cancel the charter, we will issue you with a voucher for the full value of your booking. You can use this voucher to reschedule your booking within 12 months. Additionally, even when it’s raining, our guests still have an incredible time out on the Harbour. With plenty of space to stay dry and cozy, it can even add to the fun and create a unique and memorable experience.
